Because every girl needs a purse that's bigger on the inside. (i never get tired of that joke)

I crochet the box, and used felt and thread for the details.

I lined the inside of the strap so it wouldn't stretch out.

Inside views. I thought the fabric looked like the the time vortex in the intros
And I even put in pockets!

I had this little blue sewing basket my dad got me a while back, but since i'm going to college, i thought my basket could use a fresh start too.

And what better than polka dots?

Even my cat seems to like the basket now!

I made another one of these converse labels, but this time I thought my shoes could use some 50s flair.

And what better than Elvis?

;)

I had this little candy box that I found recently and decided it needed a makeover.
what better than a tiny tardis??

I also decided to paint the inside. I know it's a little messy, but i'm, hoping it looks a little endearing that way.

then I had to make the doctor to really make this a complete gift.

I figured it was appropriate since she got me into the show

the dark side just got a little cuter.

this is gift for another friend of mine.

I made this simply by painting a cork black and then using a silver pen for the details.

A little cork person key chain I made for a friend.
I used a broken safety pin to create a loop at the top, and left over bits of a keychain.

Because everyone needs a little mustache man by their side.

Another one of my graduation gift creations.

Materials:
a binder clip, hot glue, duct tape, top part of a spoon, and a tin

I used the hot glue to outline where the binder clip should be and to keep it steady while launching paper balls

I glued the spoon to the clip and used duct tape for reinforcement.

I didn't glue the binder clip down to the tin so that it could fold up into the tin.

I made this little scene with a rhino hiding behind the bushes for a friend of mine for graduation. Back in the sixth grade we would joke about dressing up as a two person rhino and hide behind a bush until someone walked by.
Anyway, some felt, hot glue, thread, and acrylic paint later I had a suitcase.

I saw these awesome converse on pinterest with a similar logo (seen here http://pinterest.com/pin/51158145740088951/ )
and I just had to make one! (I've started watching Doctor Who recently :))

But I couldn't find the picture anywhere on the interwebs!

So I made one using Photoshop and Paint.

I used the Chuck Taylor logo as a base and stuck a tardis on it.
the original said "space / time" where mine says "timey / wimey"

I haven't printed this on shoes yet, but I might put this on the galaxy shoes I've made recently. I'll try to remember to take pics when I do.
Feel free to steal this picture, print it on transfer paper, and have awesome converse!!
But you might need to size it since I haven't done so yet.

Probably the most time consuming project I've ever completed. I started this dress 2 years ago, and worked on it on and off.
I linked the tabs the same way as you do with chainmail, but I crochet them together instead of using jump rings.
Needless to say, it's like my baby now.
And it was a pretty kick-ass prom dress!

oh, and I made my friend/date a matching tie :)
